Working with Forge
A small fuel surcharge may apply and changes weekly. The 9-hour route receives the full weekly surcharge; 7-hour routes receive 7/9 and 8-hour routes receive 8/9 of that amount. An allocated double route receives twice the 9-hour surcharge and still counts as one working day. Each route surcharge is rounded to the nearest penny. For illustration only, a £5 nine-hour surcharge gives £3.89 for a 7-hour route, £4.44 for an 8-hour route, £5 for a 9-hour route and £10 for a double. £5 is not a verified current-week rate; confirm the applicable weekly surcharge with Forge.
Yes. We regularly recruit skilled and reliable HGV drivers. Our two main HGV routes are SOLO7, a depot-to-depot role where you return home after each shift, and TRAMP5, a tramping role covering consecutive shifts with nights away in the truck.
Absolutely. We regularly partner with self-employed drivers to support our multi-drop delivery operations. If you have the right attitude, enthusiasm and the drive to get the job done, we would like to hear from you.
We offer a mix. Our HGV roles are primarily full-time positions, while many of our delivery roles are filled by self-employed contractors. If you are professional, punctual and ready to work, there may be an opportunity that suits you.

About our operation
Forge provides final-mile delivery, middle-mile and HGV transport, dedicated white-van and same-day support, plus refrigerated transport. Our fleet ranges from delivery vans through to 44t articulated HGVs.

Yes. Forge can provide dedicated white-van capacity for planned routes, urgent movements and customer-specific same-day requirements, subject to operational availability.
